About the Kaye/Bassman Foundation

About the Kaye/Bassman Foundation

The Kaye/Bassman Foundation began in 2001 as a small grass-roots group of volunteers who saw unmet needs and an opportunity to make a difference.  We continue today with the help of our generous sponsors, friends and colleagues to make a difference.  Over the years, our fundraising initiatives have ranged from Jeans Day Fridays, golf tournaments, casino nights, and galas; the support from our generous donors has allowed us to donate a total of over $1,125,000 since inception.   backless foundation logo

We invite each of you to join us by being a guest at one of our exciting events, helping us get the word out, making a cash contribution, donating a product or service for our auction, becoming a sponsor, or all of the above!

Check out our charities, our events and our sponsors!  And while you’re at it, check out the pictures of how much fun we have at our events… it’s the most fun you’ll ever have while supporting two great charities and truly “making a difference”.

The Kaye/Bassman Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is:

“To create and perpetuate an environment of charitable giving, to foster hope and personal growth, to support medical research, and to enhance the lives of people in need.”

Our event has been repeatedly ranked in the Top 20 Metroplex Fundraisers by the Dallas Business Journal, and since inception, the Foundation has donated over $1,000,000 to our deserving charities. We appreciate your support as we continue to make a tremendous impact on these two worthy organizations, and we look forward to seeing you on October 18th at Rock the Cure!

Come Join Us at the Ketel One Karnivale!

The Kaye/Bassman Foundation is thrilled to invite you to support our 11th Annual Charity Fundraiser, the “Ketel One Karnivale” at Teddy’s Room in Dallas. Our event kicks off on Friday, October 26th at 7pm and we encourage you to be a sponsor, patron, or donor to our event. Our worthy beneficiaries are Baylor Health Care Systems Cancer Department and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

In 2010, we lost our dear friend, partner, and 19-year KBIC veteran Cindy Ornish after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Through your generosity, we were able to name an exam room in Cindy’s honor at the Innovative Clinical Trials Center at Baylor’s Charles A Sammons Cancer Center. We are also personally connected to the MDA as one of our former partner’s sons has been diagnosed with the disease, and we are dedicated to providing funding for a cure.

Our event has been repeatedly ranked in the Top 20 Metroplex Fundraisers by the Dallas Business Journal, and since inception, the Foundation has donated over $1,000,000 to our deserving charities. We appreciate your support as we continue to make a tremendous impact on these two worthy organizations, and we look forward to seeing you on October 26th at the Ketel One Karnivale!

Kaye/Bassman Foundation Crosses Over One-Million Dollar Mark!

Kaye/Bassman Foundation Crosses Over One-Million Dollar Mark!

The Kaye/Bassman Foundation is proud to announce that since inception in 2001, the Foundation has donated over one million dollars to their charitable beneficiaries!  The Kaye/Bassman Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created for one primary purpose and whose mission is: “To create and perpetuate an environment of charitable giving, to foster hope and personal growth, to support medical research, and to enhance the lives of people in need.”

Created in 2001 as a small grass-roots group of volunteers who saw unmet needs and an opportunity to make a difference, this organization is supported by Kaye/Bassman International, a recruiting and search firm based out of Dallas, Texas.  Events over the years have ranged from golf tournaments held at the exclusive Gleneagles Country Club, to lavish galas at venues such as the Four Seasons, to upscale celebrations at some of the hottest clubs in Dallas, including Teddy’s Room.    Primary beneficiaries over the past several years are the Muscular Dystrophy Association and City House.  Tracy Denton, Regional Director for MDA, shared that “the Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud of the long standing partnership we have shared with Kaye/Bassman International; Kaye/Bassman is a company comprised of hard working and dedicated individuals with big hearts!”  Funds to the MDA are specifically directed to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  Eddie Hill’s son Tyus was diagnosed with Duchenne in 2001 when he was one year old; Eddie says “I feel blessed to have been able see what goes on behind the scenes at KBIC when it comes to fundraising and charity work.  The commitment, dedication, and passion of your leadership group has inspired a spirit of giving that extends far beyond the walls of your offices.  Thank you for everything your work has done for me, my family, and the many young men and boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.” City House provides a number of resources for over 3,000 children and families in Collin County, Texas and the surrounding counties.  This year, the Foundation took on a third initiative to support the Baylor Cancer Program, and committed to raising at least $25,000 to provide an exam room dedicated to Cindy Ornish, a 19-year partner with Kaye/Bassman who passed away in 2010 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.   Jeff Kaye, CEO of Kaye/Bassman, shares that “Love and profit are not mutually exclusive concepts in the business world. It is a true blessing to be surrounded by a group of people that not only embrace that concept, but take action on it and make a difference in the lives of others in need.”  The Kaye/Bassman Foundation is proud to cross the million dollar mark, and appreciates all of the support of our sponsors, donors, friends and families who have helped us achieve that milestone!
